Mrs. Kaspar has been on the faculty of St. Peter's since August of 1976.
Her first assignment was teaching German and Math at Mother Theodore roosevelt
High School. After seven years she moved to Addison and while raising her
two children substituted in District u4 school.
Mrs. Kaspar obtained her
Bachelors Degree from Rosary College-now Dominican University in River
Forest. Her teaching certificate is 6-12 with endorsements in German, Math
and English. While teaching at Guerin High School, she received her
graduate certificate in TEP (Teacher Education Preparation) primarily
behavior disorders from the now National-Lewis University in Evanston. Mrs.
Kaspar teaches sixth, seventh and eighth grade Math; and, eighth grade
Religion, English, Reading, Spelling and Art. In addition to her
teaching duties, Mrs. Kaspar is assistant principal and is responsible for
before school care.
"Some people dream of the job they would love to have, but I live the dream. Working with children in mathematics as well as the other subjects on the junior high level brings me great satisfaction."
