Mrs. Lemense has been on the faculty at St. Peter's since 1992. She holds a Bachelor Degree from Loyola University/Chicago and a Master Degree from National-Louis University/Evanston. Her teaching certificate is K-9 with endorsements in Language Arts and Social Studies. Mrs. Lemense spent several years in private business before making the career change to education. Prior to coming to St. Peter's she substituted in the western suburbs while completing her graduate degree. Mrs. Lemense's teaching duties include: Religion 4th and 5th grades; Science 4th grade; Social Studies 4th grade; Reading 4th grade; Spelling 4th grade; English 4th grade; Creative Writing 4th and 5th grades; Art 4th grade.

The challenge for a teacher today is to assist the student in 'learning how to learn' and sending him/her into the world with the tools necessary to succeed.
