Mrs. Ruppe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Marycrest College in Davenport, Iowa, with majors in Elementary Education and Nutrition. After graduation she taught for the next five years in the Davenport, Iowa and South Bend, Indiana Public School Systems. For several years Charlotte took a break from teaching to raise her six children, which includes two sets of twins. When she returned to teaching, she substituted in the San Francisco, California Catholic Schools. In January of 1990 she joined the faculty at St. Peters, and taught kindergarten and Pre-School 3. The next year she moved down the hall to third grade where she is responsible for teaching all the major subjects plus Art.
"Even though I have taught Pre-School 3 through fourth, I have to admit my very favorite grade is third. At this age the children are so eager to learn and have such a wonderful sense of humor that they make every day fun.
