Physical Education
Please
welcome Mrs. Tracy Fink to our school; you may already recognize her and her
family as parishioners of St. Peters. Mrs. Fink holds a Bachelor of
Science
degree in Physical Education with a major in Athletic Training and a minor in
teaching K-12 Physical Education and 7-12 Health from Valparaiso University.
She
has taught adapted physical education at SELF School in Valparaiso, Indiana and
was a physical education/health instructor/athletic trainer at Culver Military
Academy.
In physical education this year we will focus on individual fitness
development and learning team sports - knowledge of game rules and play, along
will sport
specific skills will be evaluated. The children have already
expressed interest in several team sports that they would like to try! In
the winter months, the Jr.
High students will be certified in American Red Cross CPR and/or First Aid.
