Kindergarten

Rita Gdowski, known as Mrs.G., has been teaching Kindergarten at St. Peter for more than 5 years. She earned a degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Elementary Ed. with a major in Early Childhood. She began her career teaching First Grade in Chicago. After starting a family, Mrs. G. chose to stay home and raise her children. During this time she began subbing and aiding part-time. Once her children were all in school full-time ,she decided to go back to her career of choice - teaching!

"I believe that every child is special and is entitled to the best education possible. I have found that children learn and develop at their own pace and doing their own personal best is very important. They need to know that God is very important in our lives and that He loves us all. If they're happy in school and willing to listen, learn and have fun - our year will be considered a great success!"
